Worked as Associate Director, Editor, and VFX Artist. Kafra became Pakistan's first Punjabi film shot on Digital Camera with VFX Elements.

In 2007, Naghman Saleem Edited a Telefilm (IZZAT) starring Veena Malik, Kashif Mehmood for Legendary Pakistani Filmmaker Iqbal Kashmiri. While the project was a valuable Learning Experience, Naghman Found the working Environment Difficult due to iqbal Kashmiri's Constant Chain-Smoking—a habit Naghman strongly Disliked.

This experience led to a pivotal Decision: from that point forward, Naghman chose to work only on projects he Directed Himself or those Directed by his Father, Saleem Murad, whose Mentorship had Shaped his Entire Journey. It was a defining moment that solidified his commitment to creative independence and self-driven storytelling.

Early Breakthrough – Kichrdi (2005–2006)

Naghman Saleem began his journey in television as the Last Assistant Director on the drama serial Kichrdi with his father, veteran filmmaker Saleem Murad. Within just two episodes, his Dedication Earned him a promotion to 2nd Assistant Director.

By episode 13, Naghman—who was already closely involved in post-production—Naghman Saleem observed how production Houses overcharged for Editing Facilities and Restricted access to limited Hours. Recognizing the need for creative freedom and flexibility ~ Naghman secretly took initiative. With full access to the DVC footage,

Naghman Edited an entire episode by himself over 34 hours without sleep, presenting it anonymously to his Father for review. Despite spotting two minor mistakes,
Saleem Murad was impressed and instructed the team to
hire “this new assistant editor” Permanently as an Editor
only to find out it was his own Son.

This moment officially marked Naghman's Debut
as the Editor of the series.

Naghman was Frustrated by the expensive and time-Restricted Editing setups in Lahore’s post-production houses,
Naghman partnered with producer (Sala Bara Nirala) Abid from Gujrat to invest in a Professional Editing system.

Together, they launched their own production house in Huma Block, Lahore,

Giving Naghman full creative control over his work and
post-production timelines.

By episode 18, Naghman had risen to the position of
Associate Director, reflecting his natural Leadership, Sharp Creative instincts, and Strong Technical Command

2008-2009: Learning From Pakistani Cinema

In 2008, Naghman Saleem joined Filmazia TV Channel as an Editor, aiming to study the art of classic Pakistani cinema. During his time there, he re-edited over 600 classic Pakistani films, gaining deep insight into film structure, pacing, and audience engagement.

2015: Live Events and New Challenges

Hosted a Grand event in Gujrat with Arbaz Khan and Saleem Murad Through Game Changer Entertainment

2014-2019: Digital Marketing Expertise & Advertising Mastery

Managed Social Media ,TVC's and Built the Official Website in(2015) for a Prominent Housing Society in Rawalpindi. Edited & Direted more than 200 Local TV and Cable Advertisements from(2014-2019) in Gujrat City.

2016: Attempt at Feature Film

Collaborated with Babi Film Production for Pyar Ki F.I.R., an Urdu film project that was Halted after a few days of shoot Due to Financial Disputes with Film Studio & Production Controller.

2017: Advertising Expansion

In 2017, Naghman Saleem Expanded his creative portfolio into the Advertising World By Setting up his First Pana Flex Printing Setup in Gujrat City.

After nearly 10 months, he transitioned to Punjab TV Channel for a brief 2-month stint as an Editor, before taking a bold step into the cinema industry, where he would begin shaping his own legacy as a Filmmaker and VFX innovator.
